Couples Ministry

  • Purpose

    The Couples Ministry seeks to help couples thrive in their marriage by providing empowering educational tools to nourish and cherish each other in a healthy marriage relationship. This ministry will play a pivotal role in building successful marriages despite the number of years they have been married. It will also impact children, families, the church, the community and ultimately, the world.

  • Mission

    We educate, motivate, and empower engaged, young married couples, and experienced married couples in understanding how to develop/maintain positive Spirit-filled marriages. The Couples Ministry seeks to help couples understand God’s sovereign plan for marriage, the roles of spouses within marriage, and the wonderful blessing marriage can be when both spouses are obedient to God’s Word.

Music Ministry

Burroughs' Seasoned Singers - Jubilee Choir

BSS Choir was created by Pastor, Marcellus D. Mack in honor of Pastor E.B. Bouroughs consisting of senior adults primarily singing traditional hymns.

Jubilee Choir consists of young adults to senior adults that sing contemporary Christian and Gospel Music

Praise Dancers - Youth Choir - Gospel Choir

Youth Choir consists of young adults to senior adults that sing contemporary Christian and Gospel Music.

Gospel Choir consists of senior choir members singing traditional Gospel songs from the years past.

Men's Chorus - Combined Choir

Men's Choir consists of men of the church, singing a variety of Gospel and Quartet music.

Combined Choir consists of all choirs combined singing all varieties of Christian and Gospel music.

Outreach Ministry

Committed Adults

The Committed Adult spearhead CGMBC’s outreach program. From organizing Pray Walk, Evangelism, Flag Football, or the Back to School Drive, the Committed Adults are always on the lookout to reach our community.

Feeding the Hungry

This ministry provides food to families in need but also provides for their needs such as clothing and emergency needs.
